The Young Men’s Service League is a non-profit national organization that initiates and encourages high school men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships.

We are very grateful that Mr. Richard Uniacke, President of Bridges Outreach, shared his time and expertise with our 11th grade boys at our March YM meeting. His presentation and discussion with the boys about homelessness was very impactful and will leave a lasting impression on our boys! The young men asked very insightful questions and learned a lot from Mr. Uniacke about how to hopefully end homelessness in the future.

On Feb 11, a group of our YM (and member moms too) spent a few hours at CFBNJ; where they worked together to sort and pack food and toiletries into boxes, and then teamed up to weigh, tape up and label the finished boxes for distribution. As a group they were able to pack up 118 boxes!! Such a successful day for our members and CFBNJ!! Thank you to everyone involved in this activity!

The Livingston Chapter of the Young Men's Service League (YMSL) would like to thank Detective Kevin Mullaney of the Livingston Police Department for speaking at our 9th grade YMSL meeting. Detective Mullaney is an excellent speaker who really engaged the boys in very meaningful and important discussion about social media, it's pitfalls and the impact on their future. He patiently explained to the boys the different consequences of various impulsive actions. The boys were very interested and asked insightful questions. We appreciate the Livingston Police Department partnering with us to help our boys and appreciate their generosity.
