Big news for local landowners!

TVC's Agricultural Resiliency Mini-Grants Program is officially open, and we want to see local conservation in action.

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to conservation easement holders for projects that restore soil health, support pollinators, improve water quality, and bring beauty back to our agricultural lands.

Here's what you need to know:

🌱 Grants range from $500 to $5,000
📅 Deadline: August 17, 2026
📣 Awardees announced October 1, 2026

Shifting trends in wine consumption, rising operating costs, and the growing pressures of climate change are taking a toll on vineyards and the broader natural ecosystems that make the Tri-Valley so remarkable.

That's why TVC is so proud to launch our new Agricultural Resiliency Mini-Grants Program, to keep the region’s beautiful vineyards, orchards, and agricultural lands alive and thriving.

Community Health and Education Foundation (CHEF) is pleased to partner with TVC for the Beautifying the Tri-Valley: Building Resiliency and Creating Beauty on Our Local Agricultural Lands campaign in support of the new mini-grants program.

Now through July 15th, CHEF will match every donation at 50%, meaning a $100 gift becomes $150 for this important work towards supporting the land, farmers, and community this program serves.

Have you ever seen a native California ladybug? 🐞

Meet the Spotless Lady Beetle! Unlike its spotted relatives, this native beetle has a clean, bright red shell.

Lady beetles are natural pest control, feeding on aphids and other insects that can damage plants. A single beetle can eat dozens of pests in a day, helping keep gardens and open spaces in balance.

It's really amazing how even the tiniest species support healthy landscapes.

The Alameda County Fair is back June 19–July 12 🎡🍷

Along with all the classic fair fun, there are plenty of ways to experience local wine, including the Wine Fest on June 27 (2–5 PM), featuring unlimited tastings, a commemorative glass, and pours from Livermore Valley wineries.

You can also stop by the Wine Garden, open daily, to enjoy award-winning selections from the Alameda County Fair Wine Competition.

It’s a great way to support local winemakers while enjoying a day at the fair.

Since 1994, Tri-Valley Conservancy has helped protect over 6,100 acres of land with the support of our community.
