The AAUW Alameda County Interbranch Council is proud to present “Constitution in Crisis: The History of the Missing 28th Amendment”, a virtual program featuring Molly Gonzales, Equal Rights Amendment Scholar and Advocacy Manager for the Alice Paul Center for Gender Justice, on Saturday, December 13, from 10am to 11am.

Alice Paul was a suffragist, political strategist, and author of the Equal Rights Amendment. She dedicated her life to advocating for its ratification. Her childhood home, the Alice Paul Center for Gender Justice in Mount Laurel, NJ, is a National Historic Landmark and research center that hosts tours, educational events, and a leadership development program for young women.

Join us to learn about Alice Paul’s lifelong pursuit of Constitutional security for women, and the past, present, and future of the Equal Rights Amendment in California. This 45-minute presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
