Roanne's Race

Roanne's Race An annual 5k/10k in honor of Roanne Cairel and in support of colon cancer research Roanne's Race was put together by those who love her in her honor.

Roanne Cairel was a bright, fun and beautiful girl full of life, love and hope. Roanne was diagnosed at 19 years old with Stage 3 colon cancer, which she bravely and tirelessly fought for 5 years. Unfortunately, her cancer would not yeld, and it took her on December 27, 2011. Our goal is to raise money for colon cancer research, specifically in the area of detection and research for young adults.
