Nestled along Arroyo Mocho in Livermore, Stanley Reach is one of our oldest restoration sites, where we've worked for over 10 years to improve riparian habitat for native wildlife and plants.

Each maintenance visit to Stanley Reach, a mitigation area for the Zone 7 Water Agency, moves us closer to restoring a thriving creek corridor for future generations.

This week, we’re highlighting our Sycamore Alluvial Woodland (SAW) sites along the Arroyo Mocho, where restoration efforts are helping create a healthier habitat for both wildlife and the community.

Through a collaboration between the Alameda County Resource Conservation District, H.T. Harvey and Associates, and Zone 7 Water Agency, the SAW pilot study aims to re-introduce Western sycamores along riparian habitats.

Thank you volunteers for all of your hard work at the Living Arroyos Airway Blvd Cleanup Event this past Saturday 3/7! With the help of our amazing volunteers, we were able to clean up 650 gallons of trash and 13 gallons of recycling!

Wow! Thank you to this amazing group of volunteers for cleaning up so much trash along our Portola Avenue Restoration Site! So much hard work! 💚

30 volunteers cleaned up about 1,200 gallons of trash in and along the Arroyo Las Positas this past Saturday, February 21st!!!

Thank you to all our volunteers!
We had a fantastic cleanup event along the Altamont Creek in Livermore this past Saturday! 28 volunteers cleaned up a total of 181 gallons of trash and 1 gallon of recycling! ♻️ 💚
