Lights. Camera. Learning. 🎬

Thanks to an LPS Foundation educator grant, Voyager students are making films with professional lights, stands, costumes, and set pieces, all as part of a class that earns language arts and performing arts credit.

Big thanks to all that came out today to support the Littleton Public Schools Foundation at the Stride!!!

Last year I had asked the Foundation if they would consider adding a pushrim division to the Stride, and it was an IMMEDIATE yes from them. They saw and understood that in order to have a community event - you have to make space for everyone in the community.

When we set it up, we were hopeful in maybe we would have 5 racers.

Boy were we wrong! We had 50 racers participate!!!

It is so true - if you build it, they will come. Adaptive athletes ARE in your community, but do you have the space for them to participate?

WOW! What an incredible day for Littleton Public Schools! 👟 🙌

Our community came out in full force for the 31st Annual Stride 5K, Kids Fun Run, and Health & Wellness Expo.

A HUGE thank you to the more than 1,500 participants who joined us and helped raise an incredible $135,000 to support LPS students, educators, and public education! 💙

To our participants, volunteers, sponsors, schools, and community supporters, THANK YOU for making today such a tremendous success. We truly couldn't do it without you!

A special shout-out to our Presenting Sponsor, McDonald Automotive, for helping make this incredible community event possible! 🙌

If you are picking up for a group, please bring a printed list of first and last names to give to our volunteers.

If you missed the deadline and registered between Tues-Fri this week, you may ONLY pick-up on Race Day morning starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Littleton Museum.

Today, our team had the joy of awarding a $10,500 grant to LPS Transition Services, supporting programs that help students build confidence, independence, wellness, and community connections.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of an LPS family who chose to “adopt” this program, students will now benefit from:
🏀 Adaptive basketball uniforms
🏊 Access to South Suburban Park and Recreation District recreation facilities and activities
🎶 Music therapy
🎳 Team bowling experiences

This is what happens when our community comes together to invest in students.

Goddard students are literally having a ball! ⚽

Thanks to a Stride health and wellness grant, students are zooming around, chasing a gigantic ball in a game of scooter soccer. It's equal parts laughter, teamwork, and movement.

Grants from The Stride also helped Kate restock her gym with extra pickleball paddles and soccer balls, so more students can jump into the game.
