The Lancaster Chorale

The Lancaster Chorale The Lancaster Chorale is a non-auditioned choir in the Lancaster, PA area performing masterworks In December, 2008, Mr. No audition is required.

The Lancaster Chorale was founded in 2001 by its former director, Thomas Cozzoli, and was known as the Thomas Cozzoli Chorale. The group quickly attained local notice as it presented concerts featuring great sacred masterworks, many with orchestral accompaniment. Cozzoli retired as conductor, and was succeeded by then assistant conductor, Dr. Al Lunde, who directed the group until 2017. Jonathan R

ajaseelan served as conductor from 2017-2018. The current director is Dr. Bruce Gerlach. Membership in the group is represented by singers from over 25 area churches. At the invitation of the worship ministry staff of Calvary Church, the Lancaster Chorale now makes the church its home, both for rehearsals and concert presentations. The Lancaster Chorale rehearses Sunday afternoons from 3-5 PM at:
Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601

Concerts are presented in late fall and spring. Membership is open to all interested singers.

We are welcoming new and returning strong singers with the ability to read music to join The Lancaster Chorale!

✨ How to Join
It’s easy — just show up to register on the first day of rehearsals (or the next week if you can't on the 13th).
📅 Sunday, September 13th and 20th, 2026
🕑 Registration from 2-3pm
🎶 Rehearsals every Sunday 3–5pm
📍 Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd, Lancaster
