These girls worked so hard in a speech group together at GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster as part of the Amina Grace Speech and Language program, funded in part by the Amina Grace Memorial Fund. In this session, they worked on writing compliment cards and reading them to one another. We especially love the ending when Bella says to Grace, “I like your voice. Best of All moment: Georgia was participating in GiGiFIT Infant during the penguin waddle song. She allowed Miss Alisha to hold her upright, bearing weight on both her feet and shifting her weight side to side with assistance while her peers and volunteers sang the penguin waddle song together. She was strong and did the song three times in a row. We were all so proud of her! Great job Georgia!

It's Down Syndrome Awareness Month and we continue to have multiple opportunities to go into our community for various events! We had a booth at Gifts that Give Hope Lancaster. We delivered 5 inservice training presentations and did the oven mitt challenge with educational staff at Warwick School District - Lititz, Pennsylvania and job trainers at Lancaster-Lebanon IU13. We also had a table at 18fore3.21 Golf tournament, where we were one of the beneficiaries. Thank you everyone for having us!
