Monarchs of the Imperial Court of Kentucky (ICK) are expected to embody deep community commitment and extraordinary selflessness.

This weekend at Coronation 45 our stepping down monarchs, Empress 44 Kasi Nova and Emprex 44 Marilyn Monae Cox by royal proclamation officially name Andrew Shayde an Honorary Emperor for Life of the ICK!

Andrew has shown an incredible dedication to the LGBTQ+ community here in the Bluegrass region, working tirelessly to raise vital funds for countless organizations. As the Chief Development Officer at AVOL Kentucky in Lexington, Andrew spearheads fundraising and communications for critical HIV care, prevention, and housing initiatives.

He truly has never met a stranger, always goes above and beyond, and perfectly exemplifies what it means to be selfless. We are incredibly honored to bestow this title upon him and cannot wait to watch his amazing work continue to uplift our community. The Imperial Court of Kentucky currently has one open seat on the Board of Directors for Reign 45

If you- or someone you know- are interested in filling the vacancy please contact Michael Owens, Board President for an application.

Interested parties should understand that they are filling the spot for the entirety of Reign 45 so until after coronation 46 in June 2027 and must submit their completed application to me at least 24 hours prior to the transition meeting June 14th Meeting.

The current Board of Directors will interview all who are interested

All applicants must submit a current background check through COURTNET with their application and a short bio, and meet all requirements for membership and Board positions.
