Allegro Dance Project offers Inclusive Dance outreach and Adaptive Dance classes for children with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other specific needs with PT assistance and live interactive music accompaniment. Our Adaptive Dance classes offer small group in-person classes following Covid safety protocol OR the option to join class virtually from home via Zoom. We offer flexible paym

ent plans & need-based tuition assistance so ALL can dance! Choose from Adaptive Ballet, Adaptive Dance & Adaptive Contemporary. Spring 2023 class schedule:

5:45-6:30 Thursdays at Artworks

9:30-10:15 Saturdays at Bluegrass Youth Ballet

If your child has participated in our Inclusive Dance Outreach, Healthy Movements Dance Classes or Adaptive Dance Classes this past year, we are very excited to invite them to perform in our all new summer performance titled Expressions at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center August 7th -9th!

You’ll receive a receipt copy of your form, which lists the full rehearsal schedule. We know summers are busy, but we encourage your dancer to attend as many rehearsals as possible so they feel comfortable & confident on stage.

This week our Inclusive Dance Outreach visited: Leestown Middle, Lemons Mill Elementary, Royal Springs Middle, Family Care Center, James Lane Allen Elementary Pre-K, Dunbar High, Southern Elementary Pre-K, Athens-Chilesburg Elementary, Meadowthorpe Elementary, Ashland Elementary, Hayes Middle, Mary Todd Elementary Pre-K, Crawford Middle, KORE Academy Elementary, Middle/High & Lafayette High School!

We especially enjoyed making “group loops” with Mr. Thomas, volunteering/serving/visiting with our community at our Culver’s Fundraiser event, and getting to see some adorable newly hatched ducklings! 🥰

This week our Inclusive Dance Outreach visited: Yates Elementary Pre-K, Mt Vernon Elementary, Madison Central High, Model Lab, Deep Springs Elementary Pre-K, Breckinridge Elementary, Henry Clay High, Fayette County Preschool Center, Estill County High, Caudill Middle, Squires Elementary Pre-K, Justice Elementary, Baker Intermediate, Strode Station Elementary & Lafayette High School! We received some very sweet cards & love notes from our dance friends and got to meet the cutest bunny! 🥰

We also wrapped up our Healthy Movements Dance classes at the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky and had our final Adaptive Ballet & Adaptive Contemporary classes of the spring semester!
