Allegro Dance Project offers Inclusive Dance outreach and Adaptive Dance classes for children with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other specific needs with PT assistance and live interactive music accompaniment. Our Adaptive Dance classes offer small group in-person classes following Covid safety protocol OR the option to join class virtually from home via Zoom. We offer flexible paym

ent plans & need-based tuition assistance so ALL can dance! Choose from Adaptive Ballet, Adaptive Dance & Adaptive Contemporary. Spring 2023 class schedule:

6:30-7:15 Wednesdays at Artworks

Adaptive Contemporary
5:45-6:30 Thursdays at Artworks

Adaptive Dance
9:30-10:15 Saturdays at Bluegrass Youth Ballet

We are thrilled to officially announce our new Apprenticeship Program!

Allegro Dance Project has always valued inclusion, accessibility and representation, which are values reflected in our mission statement and all aspects of our programming. But this is what we have been ultimately been working for – a dream within a dream, you could say. First, we wanted to bring dance and music to those who might not have had access. Then, to see individuals not only fall in love with dance and music, but to see them progress and advance. Now, we move to offer an inclusive career path, a way to continue to advance their skills and experiences, a space to let their creative voices be heard and the support to help them grow from students into artists.

This exciting new venture begins now, alongside the creation of our new show “Expressions”. Stay tuned to follow these amazing young artists on their journey!

Our first full week of our 2026 summer season!
So wonderful having more of the dance fam back in the studio for a week full of gorgeous dancing and another incredible photo shoot with Ryan Peters (featuring the most adorable shoot crasher). Four rehearsals in, watching “Expressions” take shape - and we can already promise it’s a show you won’t want to miss! 💚

We had such a blast dancing & drumming with our friends at Kentucky School for the Deaf yesterday and dancing & rocking out on the electric guitar with our friends at Key Assets KY this morning! 🥰 In the summer we spend a ton of time + energy rehearsing & creating a brand new show, which is so so fun! But there’s truly nothing better than getting to move & groove with our dance friends!
