Anything is PAWsible at The Blessing of the Animals! 🐾

Genesis 1:25 tells us God made “all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.” After talking with Rev. Shawn, though, we’re not sure he feels that way about ALL of God’s creatures…🐍

Watch our Sunday Kickoff as we get ready for The Blessing of the Animals on October 11th, then join us for worship this Sunday at 11 AM as we hear from Rev. Donna Barr.

And hey—maybe leave the serpents at home next Sunday 😂

One of our favorite ministries last year was helping children from area schools choose free clothing essentials for fall and winter at the Lexington Women’s Club. We’re delighted to partner with Brenda Cowan Elementary again—and we’d love for you to join us!

Volunteers are needed Thursday, October 29, and Wednesday, November 4, from 9AM–12PM at 701 East Main Street.

If you haven’t completed an FCPS Volunteer Background Check in the past few years, please fill out the form here: https://vist.ly/5km7p. Processing takes a few weeks, so we encourage you to apply soon! Let us know if you have any questions at [email protected].

Do YOU Envy God's Grace? Nobody likes watching someone get paid the same for less work--that's the whole sting of the Workers in the Vineyard. But in a world that keeps score, Jesus's story points us somewhere other than the scoreboard...

Here's this week's snapshot. If it sticks with you (we think it will!), catch the full sermon from Rev. Shawn on our website: walnuthillchurchky.org/worshiplive/

Sips and Saints meets tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29 at 6pm at the home of Mary Ellen Schnabel.

Didn't read the book? No judgment. Here's a review to get you caught up 😁 https://vist.ly/5k87j

Don't have time for that either? Come anyway! The fellowship is the point, and we'd love to have you there. Bring a shareable if you can and check your Breeze Directory, or contact the office or AJ for the address!

Is what’s fair always what’s good? This Sunday, we’re exploring “scandalous grace” through Jesus’ parable of The Workers in the Vineyard, a story that challenges our ideas about work, reward, and fairness. Watch the Sunday Kickoff below for a first look, then join us for worship this Sunday at 11 a.m., in person or online, as we explore the surprising generosity of God’s grace.
