Today we PAUSE, to remember those we lost!We honor their legacy of bravery and show gratitude for their ultimate sacrifice. Today is about coming together as a country to support those who lost someone they loved and to acknowledge the void left in their lives. Today is about providing comfort and support to all the military community who continue to show up and defend us.

May we live lives that make them proud, with courage for what is right. Today is a reminder for us to carry forward their legacy and to never forget their names!

Lionheart Community Support Services extends our heartfelt gratitude to Wyatt, a FCPS senior, for generously dedicating his Sunday morning to volunteering. Your time, energy, and compassion made a meaningful impact on those in need.

This month, Lionheart Community Support Services held our monthly Community Service event, providing formula and wipes to families facing hardship. Thanks to dedicated volunteers like Wyatt, we continue to serve and support our community with kindness and care.

Lionheart Community Support Services would like to take a moment to recognize some truly amazing women in our community. For 104 years, the women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. have upheld their Founders’ vision, setting themselves apart through Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. The dedicated members of Kappa Lambda Zeta Chapter have been a tremendous blessing to Lionheart Community Support Services in countless ways—despite our partnership being so new.

Their generosity has deeply touched our youth housing programs, bringing warmth and joy to our residents. From hosting a family-style Thanksgiving meal that made our homes feel like home, to surprising our clients with an old-fashioned tree-trimming celebration at all three residences—The DREAM, The CW, and The Marie House—their kindness has left a lasting impact.

We are forever grateful for organizations like Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., whose belief in people and commitment to service inspire real change.
