The USHJA Equine Retirement Facilities List, presented by the USHJA Horse and Rider Advocates Committee, is a vetted resource designed to help owners find reputable retirement facilities that maintain industry standards for horse care.

Own or operate a retirement facility? Applications are open to be included on the list! Facilities are reviewed annually and must meet specific requirements, including references and a current USHJA member on staff.

Junior and Adult Amateur Equitation riders, now's the time to check your standings for the 2026 Marshall+Sterling/USHJA 3'3" Jumping Seat Medal Finals and Marshall+Sterling/USHJA 3'3" Adult Jumping Seat Medal Finals .

🐴 Juniors: 15 points required
🐴 Adults: 10 points or three qualifying classes

Qualify for the USHJA Amateur Hunter Championships - West, Presented by Frank & Eileen ⭐

🔥 New in 2026: The American Quarter Horse High Score Award, presented by AQHA with Judy Canfield Power, and Rick & Lori Bucholz, will honor the highest-scoring AQHA-registered horse.

📅 Qualifying ends: Sept. 20
📍 Championship dates: Oct. 28-Nov. 1
🌍Location: National Sunshine Series I at Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, CA

✅ How to qualify:
Earn Champion or Reserve Champion at a USEF-licensed Channel I or II competition in:
• 2'6” Low Adult Amateur
• 3' Adult Amateur
• 3'3” Amateur Owner
• 3'6” Amateur Owner

Riders must earn a minimum of 10 points in qualifying classes between August 2, 2025 through September 1, 2026.

This is a bi-coastal championship:
📍 East: Held during the New England Equitation Championships at the Eastern States Exposition Center in West Springfield, Massachusetts, over October 14–18

📍 West: Held during the USHJA National Championships at South Point Casino & Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, over November 10–15
