What a great way to wrap up camp! 🎮❤️

This group spent the week learning, growing, making friends, and having fun with their coach. We’re so proud of them and can’t wait to see them again at a future camp!

Today I had the chance to stop by camp with some donuts for our campers and staff, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my week!

While I was there, I sat down to play some Super Smash Bros. with one of our campers. Instead of me teaching them something, they ended up teaching me! They showed me a few tricks, strategies, and moves that I definitely didn’t know, and I had a blast learning from them.

One of the things I love most about Midlands Gaming Coalition is that learning goes both ways. Our campers gain skills, confidence, and friendships, but they also bring their own knowledge, creativity, and talents to the table. Today was a great reminder that everyone has something valuable to teach.

Thank you to our amazing campers for making camp such a fun and welcoming place. And thank you for being patient with me while I tried (and mostly failed) to keep up in Smash Bros.!

This Wednesday, we want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thank you to two incredible sponsors supporting Midlands Gaming Coalition and our July summer camps.
