Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for donating 34,000 pounds of food to the Feeding Kentucky network! 🥫🍅

This generous gift will provide food and hope to neighbors facing hunger across the commonwealth, with five God’s Pantry Food Bank partner agencies in Central Kentucky receiving food from the delivery. Gov. Andy Beshear, First Lady Britainy Beshear joined volunteers to help sort and move the donation. We’re grateful to the Church and our partners for sharing our commitment to ending hunger and strengthening communities.

🌾 Happy National Farmers Day! Thank you to the farmers who grow the food that feeds our communities. Thanks to Feeding Kentucky and programs like Farms to Food Banks, God’s Pantry Food Bank distributed over 17 million pounds of fresh produce to neighbors in Central and Eastern Kentucky in FY2026. 🥕🍎
Your hard work helps us nourish more neighbors every year.

This Thursday, Oct. 15, “Lexington’s Big Give” will begin. The citywide food drive, hosted in partnership with LFUCG, God’s Pantry Food Bank and several other community partners, will help families in need during the holiday season and beyond.

Thanks to community support, last year’s campaign brought in 105,815 pounds of food and $6,000 in monetary donations. Donations will be accepted through Monday, Nov. 30. The list of items that will be collected and donation locations are available at the link in our comments.
