Leadership growth doesn't stop when summer begins.

At the beginning of June, Phillip Roberts (Texas San Antonio 2029) represented Phi Gamma Delta at the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) in Indianapolis, joining student leaders from across the country for four days of meaningful conversations and leadership development.

Class of 2026 Outcomes 🌟🎓

Yaman Acharya (Gettysburg 2026) will be pursing his PhD in physics at the University of California Riverside

Evan Grant (Arizona State 2026) will attend the Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University to pursue his Doctor of Optometry degree. He shared that Phi Gamma Delta provided opportunities for leadership, brotherhood, personal growth, and service that helped prepare him for this next chapter.

Congratulations to David Ratterman (Kentucky 1968) on his induction into the University of Kentucky Hall of Distinguished Alumni.

David's remarkable career spans military service, construction law, international industry leadership, and philanthropy. His work has influenced major projects around the world and helped create educational opportunities for hundreds of students through the David B. Ratterman Undergraduate Scholarship.

Yet when reflecting on his journey, David points to a different source of gratitude: Phi Gamma Delta.

As a young engineering student facing financial hardship, David remembers walking through snow and mud with a hole in his shoe, convinced he would leave school and return to construction work. What changed his mind?

"I couldn't go back to the house and tell my fraternity brothers that I was quitting. So I stuck it out."

Today, decades later, David still gathers regularly with fellow Phi Gams and continues to experience the lifelong bond of brotherhood.

"It's not just a motto: It's Not For College Days Alone."

Perge, David. Your story is an inspiration to brothers across generations.

Class of 2026 Outcomes 🌟🎓

Rylan Robb (Evansville 2026) has accepted a position in the Marketing Department at the University of Evansville.

Nathan Klump (Kansas State 2026) is moving to Houston to work as a unit maintenance engineer for INEOS Olefins & Polymers.

Brady Ayers (Akron 2026) will be working as a Mechanical Engineer at GPD Group. He credits his time as president with giving him the ability to be a leader and demonstrate the Fraternity's values in everyday life.

Class of 2026 Outcomes 🌟🎓

Bryce Eberhardt (Arizona State 2026) will be starting soon as a full-time Asset Management Associate with Zekelman Industries in Arizona. He credits his time as Chapter President with preparing him for this opportunity by developing his communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Blake Wulfekuhle (Western Kentucky 2026) started his role as a Transmission Developmental Engineer at Caterpillar. This fall, he will start his master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University.

We are saddened to share that George Nelson (Texas Tech 1958) passed ad astra on May 8. George was a devoted brother whose lifelong commitment to friendship, service, and excellence left a lasting impact on countless brothers, his chapter, and the International Fraternity.

George devoted 36 years of service, including as a Purple Legionnaire, BCA member, House Corporation President and Archon Councilor. He was recognized twice with the Durrance Award, the Coulter Cup, as a Distinguished Fiji, and with the Distinguished Fiji Service Award.
