FoodChain will be closed this Friday in recognition of Juneteenth! Please check out all the incredible events at to celebrate the holiday this weekend! We will be back open on Saturday so swing by the grocery to stock up for the weekend!

A lifetime of friendship, forged by F.E.A.S.T., held true by the ongoing commitment to real access to beautiful, fresh food for all; to a sustainable food future; to equity built through shared community.

Thank you Chef, author, and teacher for coming all the way from Michigan to keep the F.E.A.S.T. momentum going by stopping through and making some delicious collard green wraps for the new Neighborhood Green Grocery and for your generous donation of a cooking class alongside Chef at the this past weekend!

We are almost at the 10 year anniversary of F.E.A.S.T. and it is hard to measure all the ways it has grown, but the ways it has stayed the same have been clear: A loving space for like minded chefs to come together around a shared commitment. Thank you for helping build FoodChain from the farm to the grocery!

Greater New Hope Christian Center is partnering with Food Chain to provide FREE healthy lunches for children & teens ages 0–18 every Wednesday this summer! 🍽️

Free meals for kids 1-18 years old as part of the USDA Sun Meals program. Check out our menu and activities this week at Coolavin Park! We are here from 11:30-1:30 pm. We have here today with 3d printing! We are closed on Friday for Juneteenth!

is out at Coolavin Park doing art activities for the kids! FREE turkey sandwiches with oranges and carrots for all kids 1-18!

Sometimes there are unplanned activities at the summer meal program.... like todays kitten rescue! Kids found a sweet orange tabby in the wheel well of a car. They rescued him, brought him to the shelter where our dedicated volunteer had the purrrrfect kitten pen!

He got some food and is heading to the vet for a wellness check! One of our staff is able to foster him or keep him. If anyone in the Smithtown/Coolavin neighborhood is missing their kitten, please contact [email protected]!

Cheese quesadillas with refried beans, corn salad, oranges and milk for lunch today! Plus we have doing some art activities!!! We’re at the Coolavin Shelter until 1:30pm today!
