Meet the artist May 19, Gallery Hop evening, as he does a live painting demonstration. Vinicius Alves Moura shares beautifully rendered, expressive drawings, oil paintings and pencil and charcoal sketches of a variety of subjects. His artwork reflects classic realism as well as touches of surrealism, and expresses his daily life and beliefs. Vinicius is a Brazilian self-taught artist, oil painter and designer, who has developed his art practice since childhood. He has lived in the US five years, and has his home and daily studio practice in Lexington, Kentucky

A group of friends got together one night and started painting. They began with a Bob Ross tutorial, then moved on to YouTube, and now venture to create a few masterpieces of their own. “It’s always been more about the journey and the challenges that make it fun”. "Friends Foolin' Around" features artwork by the troublesome trio of Brianna Dominey, Taelaesha Hale, and Timari Richardson, inseparable friends and avid adventurers since middle school. Come out and meet them March 17, 5-8pm.
