As the first community school coordinator at Spring Ridge Middle School, Alexis Broom works every day to connect students and families with the support they need to thrive. From helping families find housing to creating stronger school-community partnerships, she believes schools should be a hub of care, support, and opportunity.
What keeps her going? “The students and families.”
