Our Greater Bethel Missionary Society was happy to give as God wants & expects us to do for others !!
Under the leadership of our hardworking Pastor, Rev Nadine Rhodes-Marsh & our Missionary President, Linda Fields, we wish we could have done more, but thankful we gave from the heart!!!

We would like to thank the ladies of Greater Bethel AME Church Ministry for their generous donation of supplies to VPSO female inmates.

The Leesville Rotary Club was honored to host our District 6190 Governor tonight!
She left us with some inspiring challenges for our Club as we have begun our 2026-2027 Rotary year!

Good food, awesome fellowship & great information coming from Governor, Charlotta Nordyke! She brought our area Assistant Governor, Scott Wysong with her & we also welcomed him to our weekly mtg!
Great to have both visit our Club!!

Our Club also welcomes our newest new member Shanena South, who received her welcome packet tonight!💙💛

Last night at our weekly Rotary mtg we had the pleasure of having Charles(Chuck) Satterfield as our guest speaker ! He came to talk about a vision he has for Vernon Parish in helping provide housing for our Homeless population of citizens!!

His vision is slowing coming to fruition!

He has a property site picked out, he wants to start with 10 pod type housing units, he has talked to persons in key knowledgeable roles /positions within the Parish who are willing to lend their expertise & he’s soliciting help from any Church, Business or Organization that want to monetarily give or volunteer their time/talents!

This community will go under the umbrella of “Pods of Hope Community”!

A few members of our Leesville Rotary Club volunteered this afternoon to support the “Back to School Bash” sponsored by the Concern Citizen Coalition ’s Bowling Lanes !

Working together to make a bigger impact for our Youth is invaluable!

Rotary also is supporting the Leesville “National Day Out” event that the City of Leesville(LeeAnn Cooley) is planning for Family fun!
Tuesday, August 4 @ the Leesville Complex(by the Fairgrounds)

Leesville Rotary Club donated $100 to purchase more fishing poles for that event!

We want to thank the Founder of the organization called, “SEEDS”(Serving Everybody Everyday Selflessly), Jennie Davis & another member, Donna for being our Rotary guest!!

A lot of us have seen post on FB about SEEDS, but don’t actually know what this organization is all about!

To “selflessly” put yourself out there to organize & begin helping Senior citizens at this level after just receiving a phone call by an individual asking for help is incredible!!!!

We as a Community, a City & a Parish need to support organizations like SEEDS who give, by what donations are given to them to help others with basic everyday needs that we often take for granted!
