The Iowa Lacrosse State Championships are next weekend! On June 6-7, hundreds of players from across Iowa will gather at Ankeny's Prairie Ridge Sports Complex for two days of exciting action.

Champions will be crowned in all 8 age divisions (10U, 12U, 14U and High School) for both boys and girls! We are very excited to see the event grow this year to add girls high school play!!

At Noon on Saturday, the youth All Stars team will be presented - these athletes were selected by their respective teams for the on- and off-field leadership, sportsmanship, athletic accomplishments and commitment to the game.

Come check out the fastest sport on grass - you might just like it!

Last weekend of regular season play for Spring 2026!! What started in chilly April ends in the last hot days of May.

West Des Moines hosts boys and girls play involving Ankeny and Waukee. Dubuque has all the eastern Iowa 12U boys on hand for a play day in northeast Iowa.

Kingfisher is hosting youth boys on Saturday (QC, Dubuque, Meskwaki and Ankeny) and youth girls on Sunday (QC and Meskwaki).

And, there is eastern Iowa high school playoff games for both boys and girls at Mt Vernon on Saturday and Sunday involving Dubuque, Quad Cities, Meskwaki and Kingfisher.

The State Tournament is next... June 6-7 in Ankeny. Brackets will be released on Monday morning.

Without officials, we could not play lacrosse.

A special shout out to Paul and Morgan O’Connell - a father and daughter officiating pair who visited Meskwaki Lacrosse Club today to run a rules clinic.

Paul is Iowa’s director of officials for girls play and Morgan is a former prep player who continues to give back to the game through officiating. We are most grateful for their dedication to the sport.

Kudos to Meskwaki for taking advantage of the opportunity to improve their play through deeper understanding of the rules.

First of its kind - we hope to offer similar engagement across Iowa.

Down to the last 2 weeks of the regular season! Youth and HS games across Iowa featuring two double header homestands! One at Meskwaki - boys play on Saturday (Waukee, WDM, QC, Kingfisher and Meskwaki) and girls (QC, WDM, Waukee, and Meskwaki) on Sunday - while Kingfisher hosts youth boys on Saturday and HS boys & girls on Sunday!

Dubuque has a 14U boys play day with QC, Kingfisher and Ankeny.

Youth girls gathering in Ankeny for 10U, 12U and 14U play involving Ankeny, Waukee, West Des Moines and Kingfisher.

And good luck to WDM, Waukee, and Ankeny as their HS Boys have NELAX play off action tonight!

Lacrosse action continues across Iowa this weekend! The Quad Cities is a focal point of attention this weekend with boys and girls games occurring at two different sites involving teams from Iowa and Illinois.

Kingfisher hosts girls play in Mt Vernon while Ankeny and Waukee host boys play.

Playoffs begin for the Midwest Girls Lacrosse League with Ankeny and West Des Moines playing over in Nebraska.
