Adventure Starts Here!

The start of a new school year also means the start of new clubs and activities for kids. If you're looking for a place where your child can have fun, make friends, and learn new skills, then come check out Cub Scout Pack 366!

Whether your child loves the outdoors, camping, games, sports, exploring, STEM, building, or just having fun with friends, Cub Scouts has something for all kids.

We’ve got THREE opportunities coming up for families to see what Cub Scouts is all about:

Meet the Pack: Tuesday, September 1 at 7:00 PM at Lee's Summit Community of Christ
Come meet our leaders, scouts, and families. Learn about the Cub Scout program and get answers to your questions. We'll have activities for the kids while parents get the information you need!

Underwood Elementary Information Night: Wednesday, September 2 at 6:30 PM
Underwood families, come join us at the school for fun activities and a chance for parents to learn about what makes Pack 366 so special.

Meadow Lane Elementary Information Night: Thursday, September 3 at 6:30 PM
Meadow Lane families are invited to join us at the school for some fun. Kids will get to play while parents get information about the Pack and everything Cub Scouting has to offer!

Pack 366 will also be at the Meet the Teacher events on Monday, August 24 at both Underwood Elementary and Meadow Lane Elementary. So, stop by the gym or library. We'd love to meet your family.

Cub Scouts: check out some of the fun stuff you get to do once you join the Troop.

This morning Cub Scouts from Pack 366 learned that even when you are small, you can do big things.

Scouts from Pack 4366 and Lee's Summit Troop 366 rolled up their sleeves to help their schools get ready for the start of the school year.

Scouts converged on Bernard Campbell Middle School, Underwood Elementary School, and Meadow Lane Elementary LSR7 with the goal of making a difference. They picked up trash, pulled weeds, removed down tree limbs, and even tackled some overgrown areas around the buildings. In all, they collected 4 big bags of trash and 4 bags of yard waste. (Not including the downed limbs.)

It was a lot of work on a pretty hot day, but these scouts absolutely crushed it. They worked together, helped each other, and kept going until the job was done. Plus, it’s always a good feeling when you are helping your school and community.

Oh, and the Pack has added a new member, or maybe a mascot. This little guy watched the Scouts from his perch in a tree. We found him later catching some Zzzzs on one of the bigger branches. So cute.

Great job, Scouts! We couldn't be prouder of you!

Check out what Madison, one the the scouts in the Troop, did this weekend. She led a team that completed a service project dedicated to veterans. A perfect example of an amazing Eagle Scout project. Nice work Madison!

This is what Cub Scouts is all about. Having fun, getting out doors, exploring, and learning new things. Way to go Pack 366!

Thanks to Burr Oaks Woods Nature Center for hosting us. Thanks to the parents who came out and had fun. And special thanks to Naturalist Rachel Mandi for talking to the cubs about Animal Super Powers and introducing us to some of your friends.

Couldn’t have asked for a better day.

The weather this weekend looks perfect for an adventure. This is the perfect activity to get your kids off the screens and meeting new friends. Come explore nature with us!

Everyone is invited (Scouts, siblings, friends) to Burr Oaks Nature Center from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, August 1.

There will be fun activities at the center, a hike and scavenger hunt, and a special presentation about Missouri animals. We'll provide the fun, capri suns, and popsicles. We just ask that you bring a lunch, chair, and water bottle.
