It’s been a magical and transformative summer so far hosting some amazing humans in our sanctuary 💚 We’ve met people spanning ages 3-83 visiting across 4 states, all traveling through their own unique wellness journeys. We couldn’t be more excited to continue spreading the good vibes and leave you feeling refreshed, centered, and calm ✨Swipe 👉🏻 to see a few of the special moments we’ve shared!

🥹Huge thanks to the amazing Walk the Talk campers and counselors who volunteered on the farm this week! Our herd is GRATEFUL for the generous gift of time and energy 🙏🏻💗You are AMAZING!
Thanks to your generosity, our barn is re-organized, squeaky clean, able to house more supplies, and ready to offer more space to facilitate more healing connections for humans and donkeys 🫏 ✨❤️

PSA from the herd 👉🏻Did you know donkeys need extra care when it comes to fly control? Summer bugs are not our favorite (ouch)! Not sure what we’d do without our protective socks, fly masks, and natural wound clay (a must for donkey care-givers dealing with seasonal fly issues)! 🪰🚫
🌿Natural wound clay recipe (small batch):
5oz Bentonite clay
5oz Apple cider vinegar
3oz witch hazel
20 drops Essential oils (citronella, peppermint, rosemary)
(Mix well, store in airtight jar. Adjust ratios and oils as necessary!)
We love the Shoofly Leggins fly sock brand (we aren’t sponsored, just love their products for efficacy and durability)! Reminder that fly socks, masks, and sheets must be cleaned frequently and taken off daily - never leave fly gear on overnight!
