Singer, Songwriter, Storyteller concerts return to the Snowy Owl Theater this week on June 4.

"First Thursday" brings Tekla Waterfield + Jeff Fielder and Mark Pickerel to Leavenworth for an intimate evening of live music - songs, stories, and the kind of listening room experience that feels like you’re gathered in a friend’s living room.

Decorated singer/songwriter Tekla Waterfield and acclaimed long-time internationally touring guitarist Jeff Fielder (Mark Lanegan, Indigo Girls), are a husband and wife duo based in Seattle, WA.

Mark Pickerel - known for his work with The Screaming Trees, Brandi Carlile, and Mark Lanegan - will be center stage, performing his own songs, for the Leavenworth concert.

THE PAPERBOYS PICNIC | July 3, 7PM A Leavenworth summer tradition returns. The Paperboys, one of Canada's most beloved roots bands, bring their genre-bending, high-energy sound back to The Meadow. Wenatchee Valley's own Chumlilies open with Americana and Folkgrass.

RUMBO TUMBA + TERROR/CACTUS | July 18, 7PM Folk traditions meet electronic invention. Rumbo Tumba builds loop-based compositions in real time from handcrafted South American instruments. Terror/Cactus layers Latin American rhythms with hypnotic electronic production, psychedelic guitar, and polyrhythmic grooves that pull from across the Americas.

CASCADE COUNTRY: BOOTS IN THE MOUNTAINS | Aug 15, 6PM Presented by Mountain Music Productions. Your country festival is here - full-band sets from three of the Northwest's premier country artists: Aaron Crawford, Leah Justine, and Owen Barnhart with Maritza Soto. Boots optional but encouraged.

THE KENNY & AMANDA SMITH BAND | Aug 22, 7PM A standout night for bluegrass fans - and a fine introduction for anyone who isn't one yet. The IBMA-winning husband-and-wife duo from Lebanon, TN, anchored by Amanda's vocals (IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year, 2014) and Kenny's legendary flat-picking. Local sibling duo The Welter Brothers open with the kind of blood harmony you can't manufacture.
