We know it is still a few months away but wanted to share with those who might plan to attend our 107th Leavenworth County Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2026, as to hotel availability. We had parade participants from several states last year and hope many more will join us this year as we pay tribute "Honoring America's Veterans" and celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

Col Lynn Rolf Jr and Major Rolf featured on screen with others at the National Memorial Day Concert 2026. Col. Rolf, Retired, who is a long time member of The Leavenworth County Veterans Day Parade Committee and on ththeir executive committee, is a well known person not only in Leavenworth, but Kansas and a lot of this country. Thanks to
Barry Shultz for bringing it to everyone's attention. I believe it showed as 7:45 PM on his photos, but when I watched the recorded show much later the time was 12:35 AM.

We want to thank each and every entry in this year's 2025 106th Leavenworth County Veterans Day Parade for participating. It was a fabulous day weather wise, and we had over 3,300 people in the parade itself with 242 entries. What a fantastic way to show our military community how much we appreciate and honor them for always protecting the freedoms we so value in the United States. We regret that due to the government shutdown, neighboring Fort Leavenworth, Airlift Wing from Rosecrans Airfield in St. Joe, MO, 35th Infantry Division of Kansas Army National Guard, 312th Army Band from Lawrence, KS and NAVY RESERVE CENTER KANSAS CITY COLOR GUARD were unable to participate in the parade. We hope to have all of them back with us next year. We feel the community pulled together and still presented a very great parade which included so many of our community organizations from babies up to a 102-year-old WWII veteran, Wilbur Grisham, from Basehor, KS. ,
