“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

This Memorial Day we remember and honor all those who have given their lives in service to our nation.

For many of us it's time to move to a new duty station. If we are lucky, we are able to give or receive a farewell gift, usually presented during farewells, that serve to honor the departing individual and often reflect personal memories.

What is your favorite gift you have given or received?

Military Life Is Being on Mission for God

"While starting over again and again can make us weary, and those first few months of finding where we belong can be lonely, we must remember that our mission and our purpose are important. Going from place to place allows us to plant seeds of hope and faith in the places we land. The opportunity we have to make a Kingdom impact is incalculable."

COMING THIS SUMMER

05/11/2026

The "Invitation Project" is central to the heart of God. From Genesis to Revelation, God is always drawing people toward himself and toward one another. Our prayer for this project is that you will view your table, your schedule, and your presence as sacred and holy ground. This book will help you reframe hospitality, reclaim confidence, and recognize that your “yes,” no matter how timid, has the power to change lives.

Sister, here’s your invitation to join us. You won’t find guilt here, only permission; permission to start where you are and to see God work powerfully through what may seem a small offering.

Today we thank God for mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, mentors, and those women who have poured into our lives. We also remember those who have lost mothers, those who are waiting to be mothers, and those mothers who have lost.

To every kind of mom, in every kind of season, we see you.
You are not alone.
You are seen by a Holy God and you are loved by us.

Generation after generation, military spouses stand in spite of the uncertainty, global threats, increasing demands, long hours, and the deployments that last months or even years. They stand –with resilience and resolve — not in the shadow of their loved ones in uniforms, but side by side as an invaluable mission partner and a force multiplier integral to our national defense.

Today we celebrate you - Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day to all our military spouses!

"What once felt broken became sacred ground. We didn't rebuild alone - not with the invitation of being part of a community."

When the home of Air Force veteran Kim Chatto flooded, she accepted God's invitation to invite people into the mess - and her community embracing the invitation.

"Hospitality is not a skill or a personality trait. In its purest form, hospitality reflects God’s character. From Genesis to Revelation, we see a God who welcomes. He calls the stranger, makes room for the weary, and sets a table for those who don’t deserve a seat.

Jesus promised his disciples in John 14:2-3 that he was going ahead to prepare a place for them. The ultimate picture of hospitality is his intentional, prepared welcome rooted in love. When we open our doors and our lives to others, especially in the constant transitions of military life, we mirror his invitation."
