Brady's Bridge Brady's Bridge - Bridging the Gap for Families in Need! Brady was born on 1/2/11 at 28 weeks gestation. Brady had a 120 day stay in the NICU.

Along with the challenges of being a preemie, he had also been diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 20 weeks in the womb. His first year included a total of 25 surgeries (15 before he left the NICU), 24 of those were brain surgeries (shunt revisions). The first year was definitely the toughest, but our journey continues. Today, Brady is going to a daycare for special needs children full time. He has a

speech therapist, occupational therapist and physical therapist weekly. He has a feeding tube, but we are working on transitioning to oral feeds only. Because of all the surgeries, Brady spent most of his first year in the hospital, so we have really had to work with him on stregthening his core and back muscles. He is working on sitting up on his own and also standing! We have been so blessed with family and friends who have cared about us, prayed for us and encouraged us through this time. We believe we have been blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. We look forward to raising money to help other families financially. We truly could not have walked through our journey without the help of others. For those reading this- God bless you and we look forward to sharing this next chapter with you!

We are beyond excited to kick off our first week of Summer Camp at Brady’s Bridge! ☀️🎉

Thank you to all of our amazing families for trusting us with your children. It has been such a joy watching them laugh, explore, and engage in a wide variety of activities. From creative play to group activities, our campers are already making meaningful connections and building lasting relationships and we’re just getting started!

We have so much fun still to come!
💦 Our first Splash Day will be Wednesday, June 17
🚒 The Leander Fire Department will be visiting with a fire truck on June 23 at 10:30 AM
🎩 And get ready for some magic—Mr. Jason will be performing during Circus Week in July!

☀️ Tomorrow is the first day of Summer Camp at Brady's Bridge!

As we've spent the last few weeks preparing classrooms, gathering supplies, planning activities, and training staff, I've found myself reflecting on how much Brady's Bridge has grown over the past year.

What started as a vision to provide inclusive care for children of all abilities continues to grow, and this summer we're excited to welcome 25 families to our program, the most we've ever served during summer camp.

Tomorrow begins a summer of new friendships, new experiences, adventures in imagination, and memories that will last long after camp ends. Every child deserves a place where they feel valued, supported, and free to be themselves, and we're honored to be part of their journey.

We're grateful for every family who has trusted us with their children, every team member who has helped prepare for an amazing summer, and every supporter who has made this growth possible.

Stay tuned this week as we introduce more of our incredible team and share highlights from camp. We can't wait to show you the impact your support is making. 💙
