Brady's Bridge Brady's Bridge - Bridging the Gap in After-School Care For Kids of All Abilities! Brady was born on 1/2/11 at 28 weeks gestation.

Along with the challenges of being a preemie, he had also been diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 20 weeks in the womb. Brady had a 120 day stay in the NICU. His first year included a total of 25 surgeries (15 before he left the NICU), 24 of those were brain surgeries (shunt revisions). The first year was definitely the toughest, but our journey continues. Today, Brady is going to a daycare for speci

al needs children full time. He has a speech therapist, occupational therapist and physical therapist weekly. He has a feeding tube, but we are working on transitioning to oral feeds only. Because of all the surgeries, Brady spent most of his first year in the hospital, so we have really had to work with him on stregthening his core and back muscles. He is working on sitting up on his own and also standing! We have been so blessed with family and friends who have cared about us, prayed for us and encouraged us through this time. We believe we have been blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. We look forward to raising money to help other families financially. We truly could not have walked through our journey without the help of others. For those reading this- God bless you and we look forward to sharing this next chapter with you!

💙 A New School Year. A Familiar Place to Belong.

We're a week and a half into our after-school program, and our Brady's Bridge afternoons are officially back in full swing!

After a busy summer, our kids are settling into new school-year routines, arriving after school, reconnecting with friends, getting some sensory and movement time, working on activities, and having a safe place to simply be themselves.

For some children, after-school care isn't just about having somewhere to go until their parents get home. It's about having a place where they are understood, supported, and welcomed exactly as they are. 💙

We're excited for another school year of learning, growing, playing, and building friendships together.
