🇺🇸 CALLING ALL AMERICAN MADE BUILDS 🇺🇸

DMV Auto Alliance is currently searching for 8 standout American made vehicles from the 1950s through the 2020s for a special generational vehicle showcase taking place on the National Mall in Washington, DC during The Great American State Fair from June 24th through July 10th.

This opportunity helps showcase automotive culture in a positive way on a national level while giving builders and owners exposure in front of a massive audience from around the world.

POV: When education matters more than assumptions.

Not all car events are the same.

A car meet, a car show, and a takeover are completely different—and the people organizing legal events aren’t out here getting paid like that.

Moments like this are exactly why education and communication between the community and law enforcement matter.

We’re working to build safe, legal spaces for enthusiasts—not be grouped into something we’re not.

This stop ended peacefully—even got a picture together 📸

Share your good and bad pullovers with us—and use these moments as opportunities to educate.

Car shows, meets, rallies, takeovers…
they’re NOT all the same 👀

But the problem is… a lot of people treat them like they are.

And that misunderstanding?

It affects the entire car community.

If you’ve ever been part of the scene, you already know, but if you haven’t, this is something you NEED to understand 💯

Let’s break it down.

Share for more awareness 💪🏽

What’s REALLY hurting the car community right now?

There’s a lot of noise, a lot of confusion… and not enough real conversation.

At DMV Auto Alliance, we’re working behind the scenes to bridge the gap between car enthusiasts, local communities, and law enforcement — but we can’t do it alone.

We want to hear from YOU.
Is it:

🚫 Takeovers ruining the image?
👮‍♂️ Misunderstanding from law enforcement?
📍 Lack of legal spaces?
📢 Lack of education?
Or something else entirely?

A new amendment to the historic vehicle law is causing serious concern in the car community — and a lot of people don’t even realize how it could affect them yet.

The good news? There are people actively working behind the scenes to reverse it and protect enthusiasts, builders, and the future of automotive culture.

This isn’t just about “old cars.”

This is about how we preserve history, modify responsibly, and keep our community alive.
We need to stay informed, speak up, and support the efforts being made to fix this.

The more awareness we bring, the stronger our voice becomes. 💯

Thank you

The DMV Auto Alliance board had the honor of being invited to SEMA Headquarters to meet with their Government Affairs team.

We had a great conversation learning more about the work both of our organizations are doing to support and protect the automotive enthusiast community.

We’re excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the SEMA & PRI teams in the future and continue advocating for the automotive hobbies we all care about. 🚗🏁

We’re making history. 🖤🏁

SEMA Association The SEMA Show Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) reached out and asked us to submit videos for their first-ever Black History Month feature — and this is what they created from those moments.

It represents the DMV Auto Alliance , our community, and the positive side of car culture that we work so hard to highlight every single day.

From car shows to community outreach, youth engagement, and bridging relationships with law enforcement — this is what impact looks like.

Grateful. Humbled. Motivated.

The work continues. 🏁
