Our mission is to improve the mental health and well-being of families who experience miscarriage, stillbirth and other pregnancy losses through community building, education, mentorship and support groups. Our mission is to help families and individuals who experience stillbirth and pregnancy loss improve their mental health and well-being through community building, education, mentorship, and su

pport groups. We offer a wraparound suite of services to support families and individuals at the time of or following stillbirth or pregnancy loss. These services include an 8-week grief recovery program, annual and monthly events, an online community, an online memorial page, financial assistance for burial/memorial, keepsake boxes, cards, and small gifts at various milestones to remember their baby and cuddle cot donations.

A look back to our 2026 Raising the SAILS Gala - Community Impact Award winner Erica M. Freeman founder of Sisters in Loss!

Sisters in Loss is a maternal mental health storytelling platform amplifying voices and resources for pregnancy and infant loss. Through her podcast, community education, and advocacy work, she has helped thousands of women feel less alone in grief and more supported in healing. She is the author of forthcoming book Never Healing Alone (April 2027) that expands that mission by offering Black women a culturally responsive roadmap for navigating loss without shame or silence.
