Yilmaz Zayn Ak, CLF Chief Executive Officer, continue to promote this idea. Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation currently operates public charter schools in Maryland’s Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties. The schools collectively serve students in grades K through 12 offering a premier STEM-focused curriculum. Excellence in Education is the CLF standard. As we wrap up another fantastic academic year, we are celebrating more than just a date on the calendar—we are celebrating the incredible growth, resilience, and achievements of our students. A Historic Finish! CMIT North HS Class of 2026 Shatters Records 🎓🏆

The graduation season concludes with a bang! CMIT North High School celebrated 145 graduates today, achieving a 100% graduation rate and some of the most impressive statistics in our history:

💰 $27.4 Million in total 4-year financial awards ($22.7M in scholarships alone!).

🎓 Elite Destinations: Our scholars are headed to Stanford, MIT, Brown, and Emory, including a QuestBridge Scholar and an IAP recipient at UMD.

📜 Degree Ready: 23 seniors earned their Associate’s Degree in IT alongside their high school diploma.

🤝 Community Minded: Over 10,833 service hours completed.

The CSP Class of 2026 may be a tight-knit group of 69 graduates, but their impact is massive. We are thrilled to announce that these scholars have secured a jaw-dropping $7,173,270 in total scholarships—averaging over $100k per student!

Where are they headed?

🎓 50 students are moving on to 4-year universities.
