Have questions about the recent SNAP changes? You’re not alone.

New rules don’t affect everyone the same way, and you may still qualify for benefits. Before assuming you’ve lost eligibility, let’s make sure you have the information you need.

Think hunger relief is just about food? Think again. 🚚

In September, diesel costs for Three Square’s truck fleet were 70% higher than this time last year. Higher fuel prices impact more than transportation. They also affect the cost of bringing food into our warehouses and supporting food deliveries across Southern Nevada.

These expenses are an important part of getting food to our neighbors who need it. Because feeding a community takes more than food alone.

Every mile matters. Learn more about our mission and how you can help at threesquare.org.

The results are in! 🏆🎉 Our friends at Barclays Bank US have crowned this year’s End Hunger Games champion and we’re excited to celebrate the winning team, Pride and Provisions! 👏

During Hunger Action Month, Barclays brought a little friendly competition to the fight against hunger, with two teams competing to see who could make the biggest impact for Three Square. Along the way, teams collected nonperishable food, rallied support through a virtual food drive, and helped provide meals to our Southern Nevada community.

🥇 Pride and Provisions took home the championship belt and earned some well-deserved bragging rights for the year, providing 7,005 meals!

And a big congratulations to the Hunger Heroes team for their incredible dedication and efforts. Together, the two teams provided 9,835 meals through the competition.

But the impact didn’t stop there. Through their overall Hunger Action Month efforts, including a generous $20,000 donation, Barclays has provided an incredible 49,835 meals to our community. ❤️

Thank you to everyone at Barclays who went all in to help make hunger history!

What exactly is SNAP, and how does it help strengthen food security in our community?

SNAP - the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - helps households afford nutritious food while balancing other essential expenses. And when food budgets are stretched, SNAP and food banks can work together to help fill the gap.

Swipe through for a quick SNAPshot of the basics. ➡️

Congratulations to Alyx Phillips, our Director of Grants Administration, on her selection to the Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2027.

Leadership Las Vegas brings together professionals from across Southern Nevada for a 10-month deep dive into the issues that shape our community, from education and health to government and business. Alyx leads our grant strategy, securing critical funding that supports the neighbors and partners we serve every day, and the perspective she brings back from this year will make that work stronger.

Our community is fortunate to have her at the table. Here's to a rewarding year ahead, Alyx.

Join us in congratulating Alyx in the comments. Leadership Las Vegas

A room full of people. A shared purpose. And a whole lot of reasons to celebrate. 🧡✨

Our 2026 Partner Conference was a wonderful reminder of what happens when our community comes together. We spent the day connecting, learning from one another, celebrating the work of our partners and sharing ideas that help us continue making an impact across Southern Nevada.

We’re so grateful to our headlining speaker, The Stacey Wedding Group and to our panelists Nina Gallagher of Helping Hands of Vegas Valley , Monica McGaha of VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System and Alex Bernal of Clark County Parks & Recreation Community Outreach - GIT for sharing their knowledge, experiences and perspectives with our partner community.

And to all of our incredible partners: thank you for being part of this work. For showing up. For sharing your time and expertise. For finding new ways to help. And for reminding us that we can accomplish so much more together. 🤝

This is what partnership looks like. 🧡

A new neighbor just opened down the street. El Super Markets' fifth Las Vegas store is now open, and it is the closest one yet to Three Square.

El Super is already part of the community response to food insecurity in Southern Nevada. Through our Retail Rescue program, their stores set aside good food that would otherwise go to waste, and Three Square gets it to neighbors through community partners and distributions across the valley. In the year since our partnership began, El Super has donated the equivalent of 25,000 meals.

Welcome to the neighborhood, El Super. We look forward to working with this new location too.

🐾 Did you know? Hunger doesn’t just impact people - it can affect our four-legged family members, too. 🧡

At Three Square, we occasionally receive pet food donations and work with a long list of incredible community partners who help get that food into the paws of pets and the hands of the people who love them.

Together, we’re helping make sure no one in our community has to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their furry companions. 🐶🐱
