Congratulations on being nominated for the 2024 Stars of Nevada - Governor’s Points of Light Awards in the category of Non-Profit and Community Organization Volunteer Program (includes service groups and government agencies)!

The Stars of Nevada is the highest honor bestowed by Nevada’s Governor and Nevada Volunteers to celebrate the individuals and organizations who model Nevadan values of service, responsibility, cooperation and compassion, and the power of partnership that makes Nevada a better place to live. Finalists will be recognized at a bronze, silver, or gold level.

Nominations have been sent on to our panel of judges who will determine our top 3 finalists for each category. While that is happening, we want to recognize you and all the nominees who shared themselves through service to make the world a better place! We will begin posting nomination announcements on Nevada Volunteers social media on June 28th. We encourage you to like, comment, and share the posts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. These will also be posted to our website next week.

You will receive another email after finalists have been chosen with more information on the event, tickets, etc. Please let me know if you have any questions.
