Here's what to expect at a Project REACH Senior Expo, Powered by NV Energy!

We're here TODAY at the Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Convention Center to help with past-due electric, gas, water, trash, propane, or sewer bills. Bring all your utility bills, and take home a FREE disaster preparedness kit!

🚌 Need a ride? Free RTC bus passes are available through UWSN's Project REACH community partners and at each Senior Expo while supplies last. You can also call Nevada 211 to request free transportation to and from the event. Rides and bus passes are first-come, first-serve!

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we’re celebrating the people behind the organizations working every day to make Southern Nevada stronger. 💙

Through UWSN’s Nonprofit Navigator Program, aspiring and emerging nonprofit leaders are building skills, making connections, and turning their visions into organizations that can create lasting community impact.

After the first day of the inaugural program, participants shared what the experience meant to them:

Eligible seniors may qualify for up to $300 through Project REACH for past-due electricity, water, trash, propane or sewer bills, plus up to $400 in natural gas assistance through Southwest Gas’ Energy Share program.

We’re proud to partner with the City of Las Vegas Government to launch the inaugural Nonprofit Navigator Program, helping aspiring and emerging nonprofit founders build the skills, connections, and resources they need to grow and make a lasting impact in Southern Nevada. 🤝

The inaugural cohort kicked off the five-week program at Las Vegas City Hall on August 4. Over the coming weeks, participants will gain practical tools to launch or grow their organizations, connect with expert guidance and community resources, and strengthen their impact across our community.

Nonprofits play an essential role in addressing some of our community’s most pressing needs, and we’re excited to support the next generation of nonprofit leaders as they turn their ideas into action.
