We connect all churches together! The Godthering

With so many things going on in the world and in daily life, worship and spiritual healing with your church community is more important than ever. Finding and choosing your place of worship is a deeply personal choice and one that Christians place enormous importance on when choosing a parish. Many choose a place of worship where there is a sense o

f community, a personal connection to clergy and their message, and opportunities for involvement in community service. Although many churches have the common goal of preaching God’s message of love, oftentimes individual communities may feel disconnected, isolated, or disengaged due to traditional church formats and interactions with outside congregations. Ministries may have different approaches and implementation in areas such as healing, caring for the elderly, feeding and providing for those in need and youth programs, but in the end, all are working toward the same goals. The scripture in 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 12 states “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit”. This unites all the faithful in one faith, one baptism, one Lord, and one Jesus Christ despite minor differences between church communities. The Godthering is where pouring worship and Revelation to the body come together and Christian communities come together as one. As the Bible says, “Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth”. Our belief in life through worship is one plants, one waters and “He makes the increase” taken from 1 Corinthians 3:6: “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

The format is a one-hour worship gathering on the last Saturday of every month bringing together different denominations, communities, and all of God’s children regardless of race, gender, and socioeconomic standing. The common thread is we all believe in Jesus Christ who died for our sins, rose from the grave, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. This common belief and strength is binding and overshadows any insignificant differences that may exist between us. When we allow the Holy Spirit to move and transform us through worship, inspirational messages and testimony from all believers, Christian unity and strength cannot be overcome. During each one-hour monthly worship, all individuals, pastors, evangelists, apostles, teachers, prophets, bishops, ministers, and members of the church will be eligible for selection to share and testify according to God’s inspirational message for that month’s worship and venue. Selected individual churches and their congregations will be united for a service and chosen team members will contribute to the worship in the assigned theme. God’s message will be delivered by two different speakers for fifteen minutes to provide inspiration, motivation, and encouragement to the body giving strength and resilience during trying times. The Godthering’s belief is that by showing the Christian community that the body is united as one regardless of differences, we can illuminate the lives of individuals and the greater community as a whole. Now is the time for the body to unite, come together for worship, rise up, and hold His banner on high, we are one in Christ. The Godthering’s guiding principle:

“As God gives the ring to His bride, the church. To worship him all over the world and show on every places that we are all called to be one.”

The Vision:
“One Lord, One faith, One baptism; One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.”
Ephesians 4:5-7

The Mission:
“Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 31:12
