The purposes of the MSU Alumni Association - North America Chapter are:
(1.) To foster fellowship and cooperation among the alumni with utmost unity and collaboration in planning, promoting, developing, and coordinating the implementation of MSU Alumni oriented projects and programs. To offer assistance to aspiring students of Mindanao State University by providing funding support for scholarship
s and other academic needs. To recognize alumni for both their individual and collective accomplishments and services
(4.) To dovetail its activities by sharing its resources and ideas and participating in various concerted pursuits that build better camaraderie with other MSUAA chapters. To promote awareness and preservation of the Filipino cultural heritage in North America. To provide, participate, and conduct public informational campaigns and other technical skills useful to the community using the experience and skills of own alumni members and their contacts.
