St. Paul's is a downtown congregation in the Anglican tradition, steeped in history and full of love for the Lord and our community. Join us Sundays at 9 a.m.

Thursday at 9a: Morning Prayer & Bible Study

Office Hours are by appointment. Mother Michelle is typically in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Join us for an extra special First Friday Concert with poet Louis Martinez, who will be accompanied by pianist Paul Werner. Louis has written and curated a series of Thanksgiving themed poems that he will perform for you and send you away with written copies. Louis is a talented local artist that we are excited to premiere as part of our First Friday series. And of course we love Paul!

Event begins at 12:10 p.m. on Friday 11/6 and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1000 Michigan Avenue. Join us and bring a friend.

Louis Martinez is a Christian writer and contemporary martial artiist. He received his master’s degree in forensic psychology from the Chiciago School in 2019 and since then has studied theology, poetry and speechwriting.

Martinez has published three books and writes a public journal, Pensive Warrior, where he writes on a variety of topics.

As a martial artist, Martinez was trained in the traditional arts of taekwondo and has studied European longsword and contemporary knife fighting.

Paul Werner, a member of St. Paul’s, will play background music as Martinez recites his poetry. He has played in various venues in Northwest Indiana and Chicago.

Our very own Ed Zeese turns 100 years young today and a few of us gathered with his family over the weekend to celebrate. I wrote in his card “If I live to be 100 years old I want to be as healthy and as spunky as you!” Happiest of birthdays Ed!
