We're a 501c3 non-profit and provide newly purchased bed-time essentials to children who are experiencing trauma or displacement.

Our goal is to alleviate the fear associated with negative situations and install a sense of safety and hope in children

When families reach out to Sleep Tight Kids, they’re not asking for something they simply don’t want to buy.. they’re reaching out because they can’t afford it. 💙

90.6% of the families who have reached out to us would not be able to afford the items that we provide.

That’s why this mission matters. Every bed, mattress, and set of essentials we provide helps meet a need that might otherwise go unmet. 🛏️

So far, August has been full of hopeful times! 👏

We recently received a message from a family that we were able to deliver new beds and bedding to!

“We did receive everything! The kids say the bed is so comfy it’s like sleeping on a cloud! They were so excited to have new beds. They were sleeping on an air mattress and a saggy mattress on the floor, which hurt their backs. They thought the bedding was awesome and thoughtful and it means so much to us, thank you so much!” 💙

Just last week, we were able to provide two beds to a sweet grandmother taking care of her grandbabies during the school year. 👏🏼

Prior to this, these children didn’t have a bed of their own, and were sleeping on a couch or air mattress. 🛏️

Recently, we were able to provide a husband, wife, and their 5-year-old daughter with a two beds, a vacuum, and cleaning supplies! ✨

Receiving messages from these families after their deliveries reminds us exactly why we do what we do! Every bed delivered is more than a mattress. It’s comfort, relief, hope, and better days ahead. 💙

Recently, we received this email from North Carolina Child Stability Coalition about a family in need. 🛏️

A dedicated mom is raising children ranging from just 6 months to 10 years old while also helping care for her sister as she undergoes cancer treatment. Although they have stable housing, providing a mattress for each child simply isn’t financially possible right now.

This is why Sleep Tight Kids exists. ✨

Because behind every mattress is a child who deserves restful sleep, a parent doing everything they can, and a community with the power to make a difference.
