A Heartfelt Plea for Help — Help Us Bring Fresh Food to Families in Need

We are incredibly grateful and excited to share that our gifted commercial cooler has arrived — a huge step forward in our mission to fight food insecurity in our community. But with this blessing comes an urgent and time-sensitive opportunity.

Broken Angels has been offered the chance to receive fresh produce and meats two to three times every week to help feed families who are struggling. This could mean thousands of pounds of nutritious food going directly to children, seniors, and hardworking families who are facing impossible choices between groceries, rent, and utilities.

There is just one critical piece missing.

We need a refrigerated box truck to pick up and safely transport this food.

Without it, this life-changing opportunity could slip away.

This truck is not just a vehicle.
It is:
• Fresh meals on dinner tables
• Healthy food for growing children
• Relief for parents who are trying their best
• Hope for families facing rising food costs

Food insecurity is growing rapidly in our community. Every week we meet new families who never imagined they would need help. With this refrigerated truck, we can dramatically increase how many people we serve and how often we can serve them.

We are asking for your help to raise $10,000 to secure this vital piece of equipment.

Your support will directly:
• Allow us to rescue fresh food that would otherwise go unused
• Expand food distribution multiple times each week
• Strengthen the logistics of our food bank operations
• Help us reach more families faster and more efficiently

This is a moment where a single act of generosity can multiply into thousands of meals.

If you have ever wondered how you could make a real, immediate difference — this is that moment.

Please consider partnering with us.
Please consider being part of the solution.
Please consider helping us put this truck on the road.

Together, we can turn opportunity into nourishment, and compassion into action.

Every dollar brings us closer. Every share spreads hope. Every donation feeds a family. 💛

Our Donation platform is through a secure Zeffy

All Corporate sponsors of $2,000 or more will be recognized and placed on the wrap of the truck .

Urgent call to action! DONATE ESSENTIALS (TSA)

Through a contact at Greenville-Spartanburg Internation Airport (GSP), we have been asked to help provide essential supplies for more than 120 Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Airport Employees and their families.

These individuals are going into their second week of no compensation, yet they are still working tirelessly to protect our skies, our borders and our communities.

With your generosity, however big, will make a significant impact in helping to ease their burden during this difficult time. We appreciate any help you are able to provide. Thank you

URGENT UPDATE!! LIMITED SUPPLY. EXCHANGE ONLY. There were mechanical issues with the mobile fill station. The box truck is coming with prefilled tanks, however we will not be filling onsite. We apologize for the inconvenience.

🚨Weaverville & Buncome County!! 🚨💥🎉👏💖🔥🌟🎊👍🤩👏💕🎁

TPPRF (The Propane Power Relief Fund) is scheduled to arrive on Saturday, February 21st, 2026.

Event details can be found in the flyer below.

As this is a community event, please share this information with your network, including friends, family, neighbors, and other Facebook groups. Sharing this free event can make a significant difference in someone's life. 🤝💖🎉👏💕

**Read before arrival** We will be inspecting tanks before filling them. We will have the ability to visually inspect the tanks and recertify if they pass visual. If they do not pass visual, we will not be able to

Transportation safety**🚗🚗
1. Upon arrival, remain in your vehicle. Do not off-load your tanks until you are instructed by TPPRF or an authorized volunteer. We will form a "drive-thru" type system to help move things along.

2. 📦⬆️ Keep Tanks Upright: Always transport propane tanks in an upright position. This helps maintain the integrity of the valve and prevents leaks. ⬆️📦

3. 🪢📦 Secure the Tanks: Use heavy-duty straps, bungee cords, or ratchet straps to secure the tanks in your vehicle. This prevents them from shifting or rolling during transport. 📦🪢

4. 🚗🚙Choose the Right Vehicle: Open trailers or pickup trucks are recommended for transporting propane tanks. Enclosed vehicles, like cars or SUVs, have stricter regulations and should only carry a limited number of tanks. **Volunteers WILL NOT load into an enclosed vehicle** 🚗🚙

5. ⛔⚠️🚫Know the Limits: For enclosed vehicles, you can transport up to four propane tanks, with a maximum of 90 pounds total. In open vehicles, you can transport up to 1,000 pounds of propane. 🚫⚠️⛔

6. 🌀🪟Ventilation: Ensure that the vehicle is well-ventilated, especially when transporting tanks in enclosed spaces. Avoid leaving propane tanks in a closed vehicle, particularly on hot days, to prevent pressure buildup. 🪟🌀

7. 🔍🧐 Inspect Before Transport: Please remove all plastic wrapping, etc on your tanks prior to inspection. Check for leaks or damages on the propane tanks before loading them. Use a soapy water solution to test for leaks and ensure all valve caps are intact. 🧐🔍

8. 🚭🚭 NO SMOKING!!: Do not smoke or have open flames near propane tanks during transport. Propane is highly flammable, and even a small spark can lead to a fire or explosion. 🚭🚭

9. 🤝🙋Transporting Large Tanks: For larger tanks, always have assistance when loading them into your vehicle. Ensure that the area is clear of sharp objects that could puncture the cylinder. 🙋🤝

🚨CRAZY!! 🚨

🔗PLEASE SHARE🔗 People need to be aware of the long-term recovery assistance that is still needed in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. If you share, we thank you in advance!

These photos of last weekend's event remind us that Western North Carolina is NOT OKAY in the aftermath of Helene. These individuals WALKED two miles one way with four 20 # cylinders to heat their camper. We swapped their four empties for two 40 # cylinders.

We are irritated with the lack of support for those still trying to recover from Helene. It is obvious there is still a need whether hurricane related, food price related, life related, etc. Help is still needed.

These photos (credit: Kelly Tidwell and Pay It Forward Network) show two (2) individuals that walked two (2) miles one way to obtain heating fuel (propane) to heat their camper. They walked in with four (4) 20 # cylinders and they walked back with two (2) 40 # cylinders.

Photos were taken 2/7/26.

Old Fort, NC Propane Giveaway was a success!! STATS BELOW! ((SHARE/FOLLOW)) FOR NEXT EVENT UPDATES!

It was a success because of the mission sought out by Kelly Tidwell and The Propane Power Relief Fund. It was successful because of the donors and volunteers that believe in Kelly's mission. To be part of this operation is nothing short of humbling. From the veterans and elderly on fixed income, to grandparents raising their grandkids. To the Mom's on single income while trying to raise their kids and those displaced by Helene needing heat. To those with no transportation walking two (2) miles one way to get heating fuel.

The stories we hear are certainly not ones you'll hear on the local news. Everyone is interested in the disaster, most forget about the long term recovery. We will continue to remember so long as there is a need!
