Foothills Humane Society

Take a minute to get to know the heart behind each candidate. ❤️

The dogs running for this year's Polk County Dog Commissioner all have unique stories, different things that make them tick, and values that are close to their hearts. Every one of them would do a fine job representing the canines of our county!

Get to know them, choose your winner (or two - we won't judge!), and lend them your votes! 🗳️ You don't even have to hit the polls! You can support the election right from home. At just $1 per vote, you're not only supporting your favorite candidate, you're helping Foothills Humane Society continue providing care, compassion, and second chances to animals in need throughout our community. 🐾

✅ Voting links in each picture's comment section!!

The dogs slipped us a note and asked if we could post it. 😅🥓

They (and we) would really appreciate some donations of Dog Treats and Peanut Butter - the kind that doesn't contain Xylitol, which is very harmful to dogs.

You can either shop locally and bring by the shelter or order from one of our wishlists and have shipped to us.

989 Little Mountain Rd. Columbus, NC

THANK YOU! 💙
