Congratulations to our Dairy Judging Team for being the NCFFA State Junior Runner-up Team and Western Regional Champs!🥈🐄 Polk County FFA Team members Natalie Dill, Claire Lawrence, Paige White, and Olivia Lohec shined Friday at the state event in Winston Salem. 🩷 These ladies know cows and can present some great oral reasons! 👏🏻

🐓We are so proud of our Polk County FFA Poultry Judging Teams on their accomplishments at the North Carolina FFA State Poultry Judging Competition in Raleigh on Tuesday, March 31st.🐓

🐔The senior team placed 7th out of 97 teams. Winning 2nd place in the West Region!🥈Team members include Brinson Ashworth, Konnor Huskey, Samantha Stephenson, Hannah Kirby and Zulem Ramirez Chavez.

🐔The junior team placed 16th out of 64 teams and also won 2nd place in the West Region.🥈 Team members include Colton Jackson, Kensie Wilson, Allie Lewis and Sadie Schweitzer.

We have vegetables, herbs, flowers, and hanging baskets, so make sure to mark the date on your calendar to join us!! Cash or check accepted. 🌼🌺🌿

Do you want to help bring joy to children in need in Polk County this holiday season? Our Polk County FFA Chapter has partnered with State Employees Credit Union Bank in Columbus to conduct a Toy Drive. Please consider donating new, unwrapped toys, books, and other gifts so that children in need within Polk County will have presents to open on Christmas Day. All items donated need to be dropped off in Mrs. Gilbert's classroom or the PCHS Library by December 4th. Help spread some love and cheer this holiday season!

What a great day for the Polk County FFA and its junior and senior land judging teams. Junior Team - regional champions and state runner ups, Senior Team - regional champions and 4th in state and National Land Judging qualifiers - make that 7 in a row - best streak in NCFFA. We are a program of consistency year end and year out in every competition! These kids worked so hard and overcame some adversity in one of the hardest state land judging competitions. Congratulations to these hard working students!

FRUIT SALE! 🍊It’s that time of year again... our annual FFA Fruit Sale has begun! Please contact Polk County High School at (828)894-2525 and ask for either Mrs. Ashley Gilbert or Mr. Chauncey Barber to place your order. You can also order from any PCHS FFA member. All orders must be turned in by 8am on Wednesday, November 12th. The fruit will be delivered and available for pick up on Thursday, December 11th between 10:00am and 5:30pm at PCHS in the Agricultural Shop (around the back of the school, across from the greenhouse). Please see the fruit brochure and documents in the images above for more information on ordering options and pricing! You may pay with cash or check. Please make checks out to Polk FFA.
