June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. Join us on June 10 at 10:00 AM at The Meeting Place for an informative program on New Advances in Alzheimer’s Treatments.

This month, we come together to raise awareness, share valuable resources, honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, and support the caregivers who walk alongside them every day.

Whether Alzheimer’s has touched your family personally or you simply want to learn more about brain health and the latest treatment developments, your presence can make a difference.

Together, we can increase understanding, inspire action, and build a stronger, more supportive community for those living with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones.

Camp WannaRead kicks off on Tuesday, June 9th at 5:30pm! Adults ages 18+ are invited to come grab a free tote bag and tie-dye or bedazzle it at Columbus Library.

The Senior Health Insurance Information Program, or SHIIP, is a valuable resource at our center, designed to simplify the complexities of Medicare. It's a program that provides much-needed support. This morning, we recognized the outstanding SHIIP volunteers from Polk County. These volunteers work throughout the year to provide guidance on Medicare, compare plans, and protect individuals from scams. Their dedication is truly appreciated.
