Chief Snyder received high praise for the attitude and professionalism of Lancaster Police Department Officer, Feben Yeshak. The feedback came directly from one of our law enforcement partners at the Fairfield Medical Center Police Department. After a recent call for service involving a person with multiple felony warrants, FMC Officer Pratt commended LPD Officer Yeshak for her professionalism and teamwork.

Below is communication from Chief Snyder to Feben's supervision - including a summary of Officer Pratt's account of his interaction with Officer Yeshak. Great job, Feben!

"I want to make you aware of encouraging words I received from Fairfield Medical Center Police Officer Pratt. A few days ago, Officer Pratt was dealing with an uncooperative intoxicated male who had multiple felony warrants for his arrest out of Franklin County. Officer Pratt was very detailed in his praise for our officer, Feben Yeshak, who assisted him during a call for service.

Among some of the highlights of his praise were:

'The male was intoxicated, verbally belligerent and had multiple felony warrants out of Franklin County. I secured the male in handcuffs and Officer Yeshak arrived on scene to back me up. Officer Yeshak transported the male to jail for me and then helped me with all the paperwork. Officer Yeshak was patient with me and walked me and showed me through the entire process from the jail all the way to turning the green slip in at your office. While all my experiences with your officers (and Dispatchers) have been great and they have always helped us out in any way we have asked them to, I thought it necessary to single out Officer Yeshak for going above and beyond to help me during this incident. Thank you to you and your department. As an officer who has been around a lot of different agencies and officers, I can say without reservation that LPD is squared away and I trust them when I'm on a call with them.'

This is indicative of the type of officer(s) we strive to be, and the professional attitude we carry. Feben is to be commended for doing the right thing when nobody is watching, carrying our mission forward.

Respectfully,

Chief Snyder"
