SATURDAY! It's time for the 12th annual Christmas on the Creek celebration brought to you by Vision Lampasas and your Christmas on the Creek Committee. See our beautiful W. M. Brook Park come to vivid Christmas splendor. The park already exudes the spirit of the season with displays of Santa's Village, the Festive Forest of Fanciful Firs, the 12 Days of Christmas cards, and the beautiful light displays that sparkle and reflect in the water. The trees are draped in lights and Candy Cane Lane offers a whimsical stroll through its red and white arches. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! One night only--Saturday, December 13--the park turns into a live celebration of fun-filled activities: take a sleigh ride on the Candy Cane Express, visit Santa and tell him your wishes, ride the bouncy animals in Santa's barnyard or ride live ponies, write a postcard to be mailed to the North Pole, frolic in a blizzard of falling snow, eat S'mores and popcorn, drink hot chocolate and apple cider, have your picture made with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and with the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. Vandalism of the lights in Brook Park has occurred. A police report has been made and cameras are being checked. Please report to the police department any suspicious activity in the park. We are asking that the citizens help us protect our parks during this Christmas Season.
