Bible Thoughts for Today Bible thoughts can be interesting if they are Bible based. Bible study should never be based on human wisdom, but on God's wisdom found only in the Bible.

Why would God tell me something He wouldn't tell you?
Hebrews 1:1-2; Hebrews 2:1-4
God is no respecter of persons. Romans 2:11
He now speaks to us through His Son Jesus. John 14:6
Romans 10:17; John 20:24-29 Do you believe because of what you see, or do you believe because of the unseen things you see by faith?

Bible thoughts can be interesting if they are Bible based. Bible study should never be based on human wisdom, but on God's wisdom found only in the Bible.

Can Human Communication establish fellowship with God? Should Human Communication
H
1 John 1:5-7 teaches us that Biblical fellowship begins with us walking in the light of the Lord God.

Jesus told the Jews who believed in Him that the would have to abide in His teachings if they would become His disciples. By continuing in Jesus's teachings, then and only then, would they know the truth. John 8:31

It is sad that some Christians believe that one is not in fellowship with error as long as everyone can just get along. "Going along to get along" is a lie the devil always tells.

Are we commanded by God's Holy Word to hold preachers and preaching to a higher standard of accountability based on Bible scriptures?

Acceptable preaching is outlined by the Lord God in His word.
1 Corinthians 4:6 We are warned not to go beyond what is written!
1 Peter 4:11, How is God glorified when men use their own reasoning in place of God's word?
2 Timothy 4:1-2, who is to decide what is in season or out of season? Is truth seasonal?
Hebrews 5:12-14; "By now you ought to be teachers,"

Is it not amazing to you dear reader the lack of scripture being used by preachers today when they are substituting human reasoning for Biblical wisdom?

Proverbs 3:10

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. "

When your words are being multipled by you, is this not leaning on your own understanding?

Proverbs 10:19, "In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restraints his lips is wise."

Preachers who present sermons with very little scripture make the audience dependent on his own understanding. If not, why not?

How many sermons will you sit through and say nothing, when little if any scriptures are being used?

1 Corinthians 2:1-5

Is the Bible for you?
Do you think the Bible was written for someone else?
Think again - the words of life are contained in this Book. Where could you go to find the true answers of life?

Depression, Anger, envy, murder - Genesis 4:1-6, "Why are you angry? Why has your countenance fallen-" In other words Why are you depressed? Listen to the Lird God's answer to the question Cain never asked himself.
"If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at your door. And it's desire is for you, but you should rule over it."

Of you are angry, stop for a moment and ask yourself the same question Cain should have asked himself, Why am I angry? Most the time you don't even really Why you are angry. Have you never noticed that people who are angry usually don't even know why?

"Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and It came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, 'Where is Abel your brother?'"
Cain's answer, "I do not know, 'AM I my brother's keeper?'" The answer to Cain, "you should have been his keeper but instead you killed him because you were angry. 1 John 3:11-12

Today it is reported that the majority of murders are committed by someone you know, or are kin to.

Psalm 27:11-14, What a wonderful thought that David said that "I would have lost heart, unless I believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." Our belief in God answering prayers in this world is one of the great centers of our faith. Our faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God. Romans 10:17

If you believe that our God answers our prayers in this world, then you must believe in the Providence of God in the lives of those in this world. It is true that bad things happen to those who are good in the sight of the Lord, remembering that these things happen because mankind suffers the consequences of sins in this world. Jesus said, "do you think that these men were worse sinners that any other person, I tell you no, but unless you repent you will all likewise perish." Luke 13:1-5

Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait I say, on the Lord."

Standing on Holy Ground

Moses saw a burning bush in the wilderness that didn't burn up. Moses approached the bush and immediately received a warning from God, the Almighty.

Exodus 3:1-6, "So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, 'I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.' So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said 'Moses, Moses!' And he said, 'Here I am.' Then He said, 'Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet , for the place where you stand is Holy Ground.'"

We should take heed to the fact the Ground Moses was standing on had become Holy because he was standing in the presence of God.

We are always in the presence of the Lord, so why don't we understand that we are standing on Holy Ground? Hebrews 12:28-29, "For our God is a consuming fire." 2 Corinthians 5:10-11, "Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men,"

Does it take a burning bush to draw your attention away from this world to understand the holiness of God?

Romans 8:31, "If God is with, who can be against you?"

First, this verse tells me the Christians who walk in the light of God's word (1 John 1:5-7) are never alone. Come what may, Jesus cares about those He died for, who obey His commandments. We who have believed and obeyed Jesus have a hope the devil can never take away.
