There are thousands of women in Texas living with Endometriosis, a disease that has no cure, and over 176 Million Worldwide. Many of these women haven’t even been diagnosed yet with the disease that on average takes 8 years to diagnosis. Most doctors don’t know how to treat it and many try to convince these women that there are cures out there that, in fact, leave these women in worse shape than t
hey were to begin with. At Endometriosis Advocates of Texas, we strive to reach these women and give them the proper information to help them receive the best care available. We hope to lower the 8 year average and provide a support system that helps them live with the mental and emotional aspects of Endometriosis. We also hope to help educate doctors on the best ways to help these women and give them access to all the information that is out there. One in every ten women are living with Endometriosis at an average cost of $11,497 per woman per year. Yet so many people don’t even know what it is or that it is even a disease. We aim to change that and with your help, we can accomplish this and start changing the lives of these women so they can live a more fulfilled life with less of the struggles that Endometriosis causes.
