🚨 SAFE Lampasas – We Need You 🚨

We’ve got two puppies who need us… and we’re not backing down.

Meet Tailgate and Lemonade — sweet, happy babies who should be worrying about toys and snacks… not pain. But both of them are dealing with severe hip dysplasia and will need surgery on both hips to live the life they deserve.

We’ve reached out far and wide to rescues.
We’ve asked. We’ve waited.
And this time… help isn’t coming.

So we’re doing what we always do — stepping up. Because “no” just isn’t an option when lives are on the line.

💔 This is the reality of careless breeding. When parents aren’t health tested, it’s the puppies who pay the price.

❤️ But here’s the other reality: we have a community that shows up.

To get started, we need to raise $5,000 for the first phase of surgery.

👉 We also need committed fosters to help them recover after surgery. They’re going to need quiet places, patience, and a whole lot of love.

Tailgate and Lemonade didn’t get a fair start… but we can give them a fair shot.

Lampasas… the time has come.

Our first brave souls — I mean volunteers — have agreed to take on the SAFE From SAFE Pie Challenge to help raise money for veterinary care for the animals at Lampasas Animal Shelter.

Once tagged, each challenger has 72 hours to raise $100 to stay SAFE from SAFE.

💰 Raise $100 and they stay SAFE.
🥧 Don’t reach the goal… and SAFE will be showing up with a pie to the face (on camera).

Not feeling brave?
They can opt out by donating $25 instead.

Once they complete the challenge (whether they stayed SAFE or took the pie), they must nominate at least 3 more people to take on the challenge next.

🥧👀 We may have made a terrible decision… 👀🥧

SAFE has a new fundraiser launching soon and honestly…
we’re not sure who approved this.

We’ve recruited a few completely innocent, unsuspecting—
okay fine… willing members of our community.

And tomorrow, their fate will be decided.

Will they stay SAFE…
or will they be publicly covered in whipped cream?

🥧 SAFE FROM SAFE – The Pie Challenge Begins March 23rd! 🥧

SAFE (Supporting Animals, Facilities, and Employees of Lampasas Animal Shelter) is launching a brand new community fundraiser and it’s simple…

Stay SAFE… or face the pie.

Starting March 23rd, we’ll begin tagging community members in the SAFE From SAFE Pie Challenge, and trust us… you’re going to want to see who our first “victims”… I mean volunteers… are.

Here’s how the challenge works:

When someone is tagged, they have 72 hours to raise $100 in donations to stay SAFE from SAFE.

💰 Raise $100 and they stay SAFE.
🥧 Don’t reach the goal… and SAFE will show up with a pie to the face (on camera).

Not feeling brave?
You can opt out by donating $25 to SAFE instead.

Once someone completes their challenge (whether they stayed SAFE or took the pie), they must nominate at least 3 more people to take it on next.
