We had so much fun joining our partner agency, Alliance for Independence (AFI), for their Harvest Hop Dance-a-thon! 🍂🎃

In addition to providing its United Way-funded Healthy Lifestyles and Wellness Program, AFI gives back by participating in United Way of Central Florida's annual workplace campaign.

With support from family, friends and community members, AFI clients raised funds throughout a fun-filled Spirit Week, culminating in a Harvest Hop celebration! 💃🕺

Thank you to AFI for inviting us to join the fun and for continuing to spread generosity throughout our community. United is the Way! 💙

Every dollar invested in our community has the potential to change a life. But behind every investment is a thoughtful process to ensure those dollars make the greatest impact.

Over the past few weeks, 14 of United Way of Central Florida's Community Investment Teams (CIT) have been out in our community, visiting partner agencies and seeing firsthand how their programs are making a difference.

Made up of dedicated community volunteers and UWCF staff, these teams review funding applications, evaluate program outcomes and financials, and help determine where investments can make the greatest difference across our four impact areas: Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, Healthy Community and Community Resiliency.

With site visits complete, our teams will move into discussions and deliberations to develop funding recommendations that help strengthen our community.

We're grateful for the volunteers who give their time, expertise and hearts to making every investment count!
