Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the Lakeland PAL Free School Supplies Giveaway today at Lakeland Square Mall! Thanks to our amazing community's support, we were able to equip over 100 kids with the supplies they need to kick off the school year ready to succeed. 🎒✏️📓

Seeing so many bright smiles and eager faces reminds us why we do what we do. Lakeland PAL is proud to be a reliable resource for our families, whether that means gearing up for the school year, building life skills through mentorship, or getting active in our youth sports programs.

🏛️ Building Tomorrow’s Leaders in Washington, D.C.! 🏛️

Last week, the Police Athletic League of Lakeland had the absolute honor of sending four of our incredible local youth to Washington, D.C., to represent our community at the National PAL Youth Summit.

Exposing our young people to new environments, perspectives, and opportunities is vital to helping them realize their full potential. Over the course of a week centered on leadership, learning, and connection, these future leaders stepped far outside their everyday routines and gained tools that will last a lifetime.

During the summit, our youth:

• Explored Advocacy & Civic Engagement: Gained hands-on knowledge of how government works and how young people can make their voices heard.
• Toured the U.S. Capitol: Walked the historic halls of Congress and saw firsthand where national history and policy are made.
• Connected with Peers: Listened to and drew inspiration from powerful presentations given by youth leaders representing PAL chapters from all across the nation.

Providing our youth with this level of exposure opens doors, broadens horizons, and reinforces a powerful message: their voices matter, and their potential is limitless.
We are so proud of these four dynamic young individuals for representing Lakeland with strength, curiosity, and pride. The future is bright! 🌟✨

Get ready for the new school year with the Lakeland Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL)! 🎒✏️

We are excited to host our FREE School Supplies Giveaway Event to help local students head back to the classroom prepared and confident. Stop by, grab essential supplies while they last, and learn more about our year-round youth programs!

Event Details:
📅 Date: August 7th
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Lakeland Square Mall (3800 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland, FL) — Right next to Urban Air!

LAKELAND HURRICANES TAKE HOME THE HARDWARE AT THE FIRST ANNUAL POUNCEY CLASSIC!

What an incredible day of youth football! Huge shoutout and massive thank you to the Team Pouncey Foundation, Mike Pouncey, and Maurkice Pouncey for having our Lakeland PAL Hurricanes compete in the inaugural Pouncey Classic!

Year after year, the Pouncey brothers continue to pour back into our Lakeland community—giving our kids opportunities to showcase their talent, build character, and compete on big stages. Their ongoing dedication and support for our youth and city mean everything to us!

Our boys showed up with pure heart, grit, and hustle—dominating the competition on the field and bringing home the championship trophy! The focus, toughness, and sportsmanship displayed by these young men were off the charts.

A huge THANK YOU to:

Our Coaches: For your tireless dedication, mentorship, and leadership day in and day out.
Our Parents & Supporters: For showing up loud, proud, and bringing the energy to the stands! We couldn't do this without our PAL family!
