🇺🇸 Honoring Our Grand Marshals 🇺🇸
As we celebrate 250 years of America during the 42nd Annual Junior Service League Fourth of July Parade, we are proud to recognize the family of Annette and Jim Boyd as our Grand Marshals.
More than four decades ago, Annette and Jim Boyd established what would become one of LaGrange’s most cherished traditions. Following the loss of their son, Annette founded the parade as a way to honor his memory while bringing our community together in a celebration of patriotism, family, and love of country.
What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown into an annual tradition that has united generations of families, creating lasting memories and fostering community spirit for 42 years. As we commemorate America’s 250th birthday, it is especially fitting to honor the Boyd family, whose vision, dedication, and commitment to our community made this beloved celebration possible.
The family procession will be led by LaGrange’s own Lynne Holle who spent many years helping her parents organize the parade, building floats and recruiting participants.
Please join us in thanking and celebrating the family of Annette and Jim Boyd for their enduring legacy and the gift they have given our community through this treasured Fourth of July tradition.
We look forward to seeing everyone on June 27th as we celebrate 250 years of America and honor the family whose love and service helped create a tradition that continues to bring us together in celebration of our Independence Day. 🇺🇸
