We always love getting to chat with yall during National Night Out.

Should we bring the lemonade stand back next year? It definitely seemed to be a hit! You can stop by the Lions Club for a hot dog and come see us for a refreshing drink.

We’re thankful to the Lago Vista Police Department for putting together such a great community event. We’ll see you next year!

Introducing one of our Graduate Student Counseling Interns: Macee Stewart.

“ I am originally from Weatherford, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I have lived in Austin for about two years with my husband and our Australian Shepherd, Gus. I chose to pursue a career in counseling because I have always been passionate about understanding the minds, personalities, and unique experiences of others, as well as how life shapes who we are. I expect to graduate in August 2027 and plan to pursue my LPC Associate licensure. “

Sometimes volunteering looks like serving hundreds of people. Sometimes it looks like building one table. When we needed a table created specifically for The Gathering Place, Josiah stepped forward and used the craftsmanship God has given him to create something truly beautiful. But to us, it’s more than a table. For years to come, people will gather around it. Conversations will happen there. Relationships will grow. Prayers will be prayed. People will laugh, learn, share meals, and find community. Josiah built a table—but his gift created a place for people to belong.
